The Stop the Bleed course is a nationally recognized training program designed to empower everyday individuals to act quickly and effectively in the event of life-threatening bleeding. Developed by trauma experts and supported by the American College of Surgeons, the course teaches participants how to recognize severe bleeding and respond with practical, lifesaving techniques such as applying pressure, packing wounds, and using a tourniquet. In just about an hour, participants gain hands-on experience and the confidence to intervene in emergencies—whether from accidents, natural disasters, or acts of violence—before professional help arrives.
